For 99.9% of women, it is completely biological… and of course they haven’t got a penis.

Transgender women’s rights are women’s rights

There are different definitions legally around what a woman actually is

If somebody identifies as a woman or a man, they should be able to do so, whatever their body parts are.

A cervix, I understand, is something you can have following various procedures and hormone treatments.

I’m not going to get into rabbit holes on this.

Biological sex is something that of course is real and immutable.

There are lots of complexities

It is factually inaccurate to say only women have a cervix

I am old enough to remember the human suffering caused by the race classification boards in apartheid South Africa. Gender identity too has its gatekeepers.

A child is born without a sex

Unrepentant transphobes/racists/misogynists etc. should be expelled

Female single-sex spaces are not yours to give away

A man has a penis and a woman has a vagina and there are of course some medical situations where individuals are born slightly differently

Do I think women were born with penises? Yes. But they are now women and I respect that.

A trans woman is a woman, a trans man is a man

A woman is a gender, it is a way to self-identify and there are lots of genders

Trans men are men, trans women are women

The vast majority of people are not bothered what’s inside other people’s pants

“I don’t think so!”

There is nothing ‘transphobic’ about defining what a woman is.

If you state that a woman is an adult human female in front of the wrong person you run the risk of being charged with a Hate Crime.

There is no legal precedent for the definition of biological sex.

Let me say in supporting them from the Dispatch Box that trans men are men and trans men are women.

Removing the T [from LGBT] is suggesting that transgender people do not exist.

Transwomen are women

Somebody possessing a penis & pair of testicles is definitely not a woman.

Single-sex spaces are essential for ensuring privacy and dignity for women.

It is crucial that the terms “male” and “female” retain their natural, immutable, and binary connotations.

The only people who should be in that space are biological women.

The Government must surely clarify that no child should be affirmed as the sex they are not at school.

An adult human female.

It’s right to stand up for women’s rights, it’s right to stand up for the rights of trans people. There doesn’t need to be a differentiation between the two.
